My name is Angie Mitchell. I live in the beautiful state of Wisconsin.
I learned about the scoping profession while attending court reporting school. I found great satisfaction in transcript production and realized that was the career I wanted to pursue. The court reporting school gave me a firm base in reading steno and transcript production. I further developed my scoping skills by completing the Internet Scoping School program.
I am a member of NCRA. I work in Case CATalyst Ver. 20. While scoping your transcripts, I follow the rules and guidelines found in the following grammar style references:
• Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters by Lillian Morson
• A Court Reporter’s Guide to Medical Terminology by Nathaniel
Weis
• Bad Grammar, Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells
• Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary
• Google
I believe that communication is key to a successful relationship. My scoping will be tailored to your preferences. I will request a sample final transcript so I can get an eye for your preferences as well as your state and/or agency formatting guidelines.
I will also send you a preference sheet to fill out. It is the best way for me to give you a transcript that reflects your personal style preferences.
I am dedicated to quality, confidentiality, and your satisfaction.
Please always feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or special requests/situations I have not addressed.
